Adam is a founding Partner and an Inspector with Pelorus Inspection and Environmental Resource Group. Adam has spent years cultivating his knowledge of building sciences since transitioning from over a decade in Organizational Development and Corporate Senior Management. In his previous role, Adam specialized in developing and delivering technical training where he went on to ultimately lead the technical training function. With this experience underpinning his building knowledge, Adam has a unique talent for delivering complex concepts in a clear and easily understandable way.

Adam followed this experience by completing a Carpentry apprenticeship and becoming a Journeyman Carpenter. To obtain his Journeyman Carpenter status, he completed over 6000 hands-on hours in construction and related systems as well as more than 400 hours of classroom instruction culminating in testing and certification. Adam spent the next several years in high-end residential construction with an emphasis on remodeling and custom carpentry.
Recognizing a need to incorporate clear, effective communications into Property Inspections, Adam saw an opportunity to blend the culmination of his experiences with a passion for the building sciences. While he believes that all properties carry some level of imperfection, the art of effectively evaluating a property lies in understanding those imperfections and recommending appropriate courses of action. Adam approaches this work with a positive, informative approach that considers all the positives as well as the imperfections, challenges and opportunities for improvement. He views his role as one of consulting with his clients to help them make informed decisions rather than passing judgement on a property.
